IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-167 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT <br />NO. 4 WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY TO INCREASE HOMELESS HOUSING, ASSISTANCE, AND <br />PREVENTION (HHAP) GRANT FUNDING BY $192,822 FOR A TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF <br />$1,417,359 AND EXTEND THE TERM THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2026 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Homeless Housing, Assistance, and Prevention (HHAP) grant program provides <br />flexible block grant funds to Continuums of Care, large cities and counties to support regional <br />coordination and expand or develop local capacity to end and prevent homelessness in local <br />communities throughout California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, to date, the City of San Leandro has been allocated $1,417,359 in HHAP funds, <br />passed through the County of Alameda; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an original agreement dated October 1, 2022, is by and between the County of <br />Alameda and City of San Leandro; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an amendment to extend the term of the agreement has been presented to this City <br />Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents of the amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE that said amendment to <br />the agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Aguilar and passed and adopted this 15th day of December 2025 by <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Boldt, Bowen, Simon, Viveros-Walton, Mayor González (6) <br /> <br />NOES: None (0) <br /> <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Azevedo (1) <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> Sarah K.
