IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2026-006 RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A NON- PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH T&S INTERMODAL MAINTENANCE FOR WALL REPAIR AT THE MARINA COMMUNITY CENTER FOR $318,498 AND TO NEGOTIATE AND APPROVE CUMULATIVE CHANGE ORDERS UP TO 10% OR $31,849 OF THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT WHEREAS, the scope of service and compensation schedule for wall repair at the Marina Community Center for T&S Intermodal Maintenance have been presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, Change Orders to modify bid quantities or to respond to unexpected conditions are a normal aspect of public contracting and construction, and WHEREAS, to deliver high quality public works projects on schedule and within budget, the Council finds that authorizing the approval of Change Orders is in the best interest of public health, safety, and welfare, and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That the non-professional service agreement with T&S Intermodal Maintenance for the Marina Community Center Wall Repair project for $318,498 is approved and execution by the City Manager is authorized; and That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to negotiate and approve cumulative change orders up to a maximum of $31,849, which is 10% of the original contract amount.
