IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2026-009 RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 3 WITH HINDERLITER DE LLAMAS & ASSOCIATES (HDL) FOR BUSINESS LICENSE TAX AND TOBACCO RETAIL LICENSE FEES & OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT SERVICES BY INCREASING THE CONTRACT BY $594,200 FOR A TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED OF $1,497,500 AND EXTEND THE TERM THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2026 WHEREAS, City and Consultant Hinderliter de Llamas & Associates (HdL) have executed the Agreement, in accordance with Resolution No. 2021-579, pursuant to which Consultant has provided certain consulting services to City regarding business license tax and tobacco retail license fees & operations management services; and WHEREAS, the City entered into the Agreement with HdL for Business License Tax Administration and Tobacco Retail License Services for a three-year term with an Amount Not to Exceed $881,800; and WHEREAS, under Amendment 1, the scope of work was amended to include the HdL standard Application Programming Interface for business license data integration and increased the amount Not to Exceed to $903,300; and WHEREAS, under Amendment 2, the Parties amended the Agreement to extend the term to December 31, 2025; and WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to extend through December 31, 2026 and increase the amount Not to Exceed to $1,497,500. NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE that said amendment to the agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
