City Hall <br />835 East 14th Street <br />San Leandro, California <br />City of San Leandro <br />Minutes <br />City Council <br />7:00 PM City Council Chambers <br />Access the meeting remotely by using this URL <br />https://zoom.us/j/506831637 <br />Tuesday, January 20, 2026 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />ROLL CALL <br />1. <br />Mayor González called the meeting to order at 7:01 pm and led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />Councilmember Azevedo arrived at 7:03 p.m. <br />Aguilar Jr., Azevedo, Simon, González III, Bowen, Viveros-Walton, BoldtPresent7 - <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS2. <br />Councilmember Azevedo noted that he was participating remotely under California <br />Government Code Section 54953.8.3(a)(1) for just cause due to a caregiving need for a <br />family member, and noted that there were no other individuals over the age of 18 <br />present with him. <br />REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION ACTIONS TAKEN3. <br />City Attorney Pio Roda stated that for Item 3b. on the Closed Session meeting agenda <br />pertaining to conference with real property negotiators, the City Council voted for a <br />limited disclosure of information regarding the matter, with all members voting yes <br />except for Councilmember Simon (absent). He stated there would be further <br />information in the coming days. <br />RECOGNITIONS4. <br />No items were scheduled. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR5. <br />Comments were made by two people. <br />Approval of the Consent Calendar <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Aguilar, Jr., seconded by <br />Councilmember Viveros-Walton, to Approve the Consent Calendar.
