RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2021-179 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE A <br />CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BERRY DUNN FOR THE NOT TO <br />EXCEED AMOUNT OF $372,000 FOR ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING <br />SOFTWARE UPGRADE SUPPORT AND IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES <br />WHEREAS enterprise resource planning refers to the software that organizations use to <br />manage day-to-day activities such as accounting, general ledger, budgeting, procurement, <br />payroll, and human resources, and <br />WHEREAS, Eden software is the core ERP system used by all City departments; it has <br />been used for over 20 years, and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends upgrading to the Tyler Technologies Munis software, <br />which requires additional support in the areas of advisory services, project management, and as a <br />liaison between Tyler Technologies and the City; and <br />WHEREAS, Berry Dunn responded to the Request for Proposal (RFP) for such services <br />and an agreement has been prepared for Berry Dunn to provide the services; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends awarding a Consulting Services Agreement (CSA) to <br />Berry Dunn; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro hereby RESOLVES <br />as follows: <br />That the contract for the not to exceed amount of $372,000 is approved and the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized to execute the agreement in a form approved by the City <br />Attorney; and <br />That the City Manager is authorized to take all actions necessary or appropriate to carry <br />out and implement the terms of the agreement and to administer the City's obligations, <br />responsibilities and duties to be performed under the agreement; <br />Docusign Envelope ID: C9A7D7E6-AEC2-457A-AAED-375E69098F2A
