<br /> <br /> <br />Stage Equipment Rental Agreement Page 1 of 5 <br />Between City Of San Leandro And San Leandro Improvement Association <br />STAGE EQUIPMENT RENTAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND <br />SAN LEANDRO IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION <br /> <br /> <br />This Equipment Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) is made by and between the City of San Leandro, a <br />municipal corporation (“City”) and the San Leandro Improvement Association, a public benefit <br />corporation (“SLIA”) and, effective February 12, 2026 (“Effective Date”). City and SLIA are hereinafter <br />collectively referred to as the “Parties.” <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is the owner a certain portable modular performance stage designed to <br />disassemble to a compact size for easy transport and assembly (“Equipment”); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, SLIA desires to temporarily use the Equipment, for its cultural performance and <br />participation in the Lunar New Year Festival as part of the City of San Leandro Second Fridays series; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parties desire to enter into an agreement specifying the terms and conditions under <br />which SLIA will use the Equipment. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the following promises, covenants and conditions, the <br />Parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Section 1. SERVICES. <br /> <br /> 1.1 Event Date. This Agreement pertains to the cultural performance and participation in the <br />Lunar New Year Festival on February 13, 2026, and March 13, 2026, as part of the City of San Leandro <br />Second Fridays series (“Event”). <br /> <br /> 1.2 Staffing. The City will provide assembly, disassembly and transport instructions for the <br />use of the Equipment, but SLIA will be responsible for training its employee and/or volunteers for the use <br />of the Equipment at the Event. Transportation shall be the sole responsibility of SLIA. <br /> <br /> 1.3 Equipment Rental. The City will rent to SLIA, one portable modular performance stage as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Rental Period: February 13, 2026, and March 13, 2026 <br /> <br />Delivery/Pickup Date: SLIA shall be permitted to pick-up the Equipment the day prior to each <br />event and return the first business day following each event. <br /> <br />Location of Usage: 100 W.
