IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2026-058 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSULTING SERVICE <br />AGREEMENT WITH AMS.NET IN FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 FOR PHASE 3 OF THE CITYWIDE NETWORK REFRESH, <br />INCLUDING SECURITY APPLIANCES, MULFORD BRANCH NETWORK, AND PHONE SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS <br />FOR A TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED OF $145,000 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, AMS.NET is the service provider that completed phase 2 of the Citywide network <br />refresh project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommend AMS.NET should be retained to perform Phase 3 of the Citywide <br />network refresh project, security appliances, Mulford Branch network, and phone system improvements; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, AMS.NET has agreed to the terms of the agreement pending Council approval; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the scope of work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br />That said agreement with AMS.net for Phase 3 of the Citywide network refresh project is hereby <br />approved in an amount not to exceed $145,000, execution by the City Manager is authorized, and the City <br />Manager is authorized to take all actions and execute all documents necessary to effect the purpose and <br />intent of this Resolution. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Victor Aguilar and passed and adopted this 18th day of May 2026 by <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers J.
