May 18, 2026City Council Minutes Approve and Renew a Military Equipment, Funding, Acquisition and Use Policy as Stated in San Leandro Municipal Code Chapter 4-42 in Compliance with Assembly Bill 481 There were no public comments. A motion was made by Councilmember Dylan Boldt seconded by Councilmember Victor Aguilar, that this Ordinance be introduced. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye:Victor Aguilar Jr., Fred Simon, Juan González III, Xouhoa Bowen, Sbeydeh Viveros-Walton, Dylan Boldt, James Aguilar 7 - Enactment No: Ord 2026-006 COUNCIL REQUESTS TO SCHEDULE AGENDA ITEMS11. Vice Mayor Sbeydeh Viveros-Walton stated she had submitted an urgent referral for consideration by the Council pertaining to a resolution reaffirming the City Council's intent regarding rehabilitation of Lake Chabot Road, to be considered at a July City Council meeting. A motion was made by Vice Mayor Sbeydeh Viveros-Walton, seconded by Councilmember James Aguilar, to accept the referral as an urgency referral. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Ayes: 5 - James Aguilar, Victor Aguilar, Fred Simon, Sbeydeh Viveros-Walton, Mayor González Noes: 2 - Dylan Boldt, Xouhoa Bowen CITY COUNCIL REPORTS, CALENDAR AND ANNOUNCEMENTS12. City Councilmembers reported on attendance at intergovernmental agency meetings, conferences, and seminars since the last meeting. City Councilmembers announced their calendar of upcoming events and coordinated attendance, reported on local events attended since the last meeting, and made brief comments on issues of concern. ADJOURN13. The meeting adjourned at 9:01 p.m. with a moment of silence honoring the lives lost in the tragic shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego.
