IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2026-073 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSULTING <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH DKS ASSOCIATES IN THE AMOUNT OF $376,380 FOR THE <br />UNCONTROLLED CROSSWALK ENHANCEMENTS PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Request for Proposals (RFP) was issued seeking consultant firms to perform <br />professional design services for the Uncontrolled Crosswalk Enhancements Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after evaluation of the four proposals received, it is recommended that DKS <br />Associates be retained to provide the design services for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, DKS Associates agreed to the terms of the agreement without exception; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the scope of work. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br />That said agreement is hereby approved, execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized, and <br />the City Manager is authorized to take all actions and execute all documents necessary to effect the <br />purpose and intent of this Resolution; and <br /> <br />That the City Manager is hereby authorized to reject all of said proposals except that herein <br />mentioned; and negotiate, approve, and execute the agreement for professional design services with <br />DKS Associates for an amount not to exceed $376,380. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember V. Aguilar and passed and adopted this 8th day of June 2026 by the <br />following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmember J. Aguilar, V.
