RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021-003 SA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL ADOPTING THE BIENNIAL BUDGET OF THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO FOR FISCAL YEARS JULY <br /> 1, 2021 TO JUNE 30, 2022 AND JULY 1, 2022 TO JUNE 30, 2023 AND MAKING A DETERMINATION PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE SECTION 33334.3 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro must annually adopt a budget that establishes spending limits by appropriating authorized expenditures <br /> for the upcoming fiscal years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Agency that the Low and Moderate Income Housing Fund be used to the maximum extent possible to defray the costs of production, improvement, and preservation <br /> of low and moderate income housing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to California Health and Safety Code Section 33334.3, the funds shall be appropriated for administrative activities associated with the Successor Agency and repayment <br /> of the Recognized Obligation Payment Schedules (ROPS). <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro RESOLVES as follows: <br /> <br />That the Successor Agency reviewed the City Manager’s Recommended Budget and thereafter caused a public hearing to be held concerning the Proposed Budget on June 28, 2021; and <br /> <br />That the Successor Agency hereby finds and determines that the planning and administrative expenses contained in the Successor Agency biennial budget are necessary for administration <br /> and repayment of the Recognized Obligation Payment Schedules; and <br /> <br />That the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 City Manager’s Proposed Budget referenced above and in the staff report associated herewith is hereby approved as the biennial budget of the Successor <br /> Agency of the City of San Leandro. <br /> <br />Introduced by Mayor Cutter and passed and adopted this 28th day of June 2021, by the following vote: <br /> <br />Members of the Council: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Cox, Lopez, Simon, Mayor Cutter (7) <br /> <br />NOES: None (0) <br /> <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> Leticia I.
