IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2009-133 (2318) <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING TITLE 6, CHAPTER 4, SECTION 6.4.100 OF THE <br />SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE <br />ADDING FINE FOR BOAT LAUNCH RAMP VIOLATION <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to San Leandro Municipal Code Section 6-1-845 it is within the City <br />Council's power to adopt restrictions not in conflict with State law relating to vehicular or <br />pedestrian use of the streets or private roadways or parking facilities as it deems necessary or <br />appropriate; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted a new boat launch fee, establishing issuance of <br />both daily and yearly launch permits; and <br />WHEREAS, the San Leandro Municipal Code does not currently address citation authority <br />for the newly created boat launch fee and the Administrative Code does not include a violation <br />amount; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that to provide a fair and equitable means to <br />enforce the newly adopted boat launch fee, by this resolution the City Council adopts a regulation <br />providing citation authority to City staff and establishing a violation fine. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That Title 6, Chapter 4, Section 6.4.100 of the San Leandro Administrative Code is <br />amended to add new subsection E as follows: <br />PUBLIC WORKS SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br />MARINA <br />8. San Leandro Marina <br />E. Boat Launch Ramp Violation: $36.00 <br />
