~ti <br />+! y <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2001- 135 (2859) <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE WORK FOR SAN LEANDRO COMMUNITY <br />LIBRARY CENTER SEISMIC RETROFIT, RENOVATION AND EXPANSION, <br />PACKAGE NO. 8, DRYWALL/FIREPROOFING, <br />PROJECT NO.98-215-28-115 <br />Recitals <br />Pursuant to a contract between the City and Shepherd & Son, dated June 21, 1999, San <br />Leandro Community Library Center Seismic Retrofit, Renovation And Expansion, Package No. <br />8, DrywalUFireproofing, Project No. 98-215-28-115, has been completed. <br />Said work has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore <br />and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation Director, and he therefore <br />recommends that said work be accepted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the work hereinbefore described is hereby accepted. <br />2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a Notice of Completion on said <br />project. <br />3. That the bonds heretofore given for performance and payment of said conditions are <br />hereby discharged and exonerated from further liability. <br />4. That upon completion of the one-year Maintenance Period established pursuant to <br />said contract, and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation Director, <br />the City Manager is hereby authorized to release the bond heretofore given for <br />maintenance of the work hereinbefore described. <br />
