IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011-093 <br /> RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO ANDES <br /> CONSTRUCTION FOR THE SAN LEANDRO BOULEVARD (SLB) / DAVIS STREET <br /> SEWER CAPACITY IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE 1, PROJECT NO. 10- 593 -52 -247 <br /> Recitals <br /> The City of San Leandro did, on April 19, 2011, publicly open, examine and declare all <br /> sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2011 -065 of the Council <br /> of said City adopted on March 21, 2011, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a <br /> description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br /> Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br /> recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br /> work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br /> mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsive <br /> bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsive bidder <br /> therefore, to wit Andes Construction, at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of the <br /> City Clerk. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Reed and passed and adopted this 16th day of May, 2011, <br /> by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak; <br /> Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: 1 AW/1A_eu'v <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
