IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 99- 153 (1925/2323) <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING OF A CLAIM WITH THE <br /> METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION (MTC)FOR <br /> ALLOCATION OF TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT(TDA) <br /> ARTICLE 3 FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999-2000 <br /> WHEREAS,the Transportation Development Act(TDA)provides for disbursement of funds <br /> from the Local Transportation Fund of the County of Alameda for use by eligible claimants for the <br /> purpose of pedestrian and/or bicycle projects; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Transportation Development Act and pursuant <br /> to the applicable rules and regulations thereunder, a prospective claimant wishing to receive an <br /> allocation from the Local Transportation Fund shall file its claim with the Metropolitan <br /> Transportation Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro is an eligible claimant for TDA funds pursuant to PUC <br /> Section 99234; and <br /> WHEREAS, TDA funds from the Local Transportation Fund of Alameda County will be <br /> required by claimant in Fiscal Year 1999-2000, for the installation of bike routes and bike lanes, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said City Council hereby authorizes the Director of the Department of Engineering and <br /> Transportation or his designee to execute and file an appropriate TDA claim,together with all <br /> necessary supporting documents,with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, for an allocation <br /> of TDA funds in Fiscal Year 1999-2000. <br /> Introduced by Council Member Loeffler and passed and adopted this <br /> 18th day of October 1999, by the following called vote: <br />
