IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THF, CITY OF SAN I..,EANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2019-159 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE CALIFORNIA <br />ENERGY COMMISSION REQUESTING UP TO 51.75 MILLION DOLLARS (AT I'vo <br />FINANCING) FOR FUTURE IMPLEMENTATION OF POTENTIAL ENERGY <br />EFFICIENCY PROJECTS <br />WHEREAS, the California Energy Commission provides loans to schools, hospitals, <br />local governments, special districts, and public care institutions to finance energy efficiency <br />improvements. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro RESOLVES as <br />follows: <br />1. That the City Manager is authorized to apply for a I% energy efficiency loan from <br />the California Energy Commission to implement potential energy efficiency <br />measures. <br />2. That if recommended for funding by the California Energy Commission, the City <br />Council authorizes the City Manager to accept a loan LIP to $1,750,000. <br />That the City Manager (or his designee) is authorized to make approvals and take all <br />actions necessary or appropriate to carry Out and implement the intent of this <br />Resolution. <br />Introduced by Councili-nernber Lee and passed and adopted this 16"' day of September <br />2019, by the following vote: <br />Members ofthe Council: <br />AYES: COLHICilmernbers Aguilar, Ballew, Cox, Hernandez, Lee, Lopez, Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: <br />F."e't ciaj/.
