IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-018 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO DESIGNATE SIGNERS ON CITY CHECKS AND PERSONS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE <br />FUND TRANSFERS (UPDATES NAMES OF CITY OFFICIALS AUTHORIZED TO DEPOSIT, WITHDRAW, <br />AND TRANSFER FUNDS FOR THE CITY TREASURY) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, §550 of the San Leandro City Charter provides that City checks shall bear the <br />facsimile signatures of the City Manager and the Finance Director, or their respective assistants; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, to comply with the City Charter, from time-to-time Staff recommends the City Council <br />identify and approve by resolution the individuals as signatories for City checks. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br />Effective March 17, 2025, all monies belonging to the City of San Leandro and deposited in any <br />bank, except petty cash funds, as provided for by §550 of the City of San Leandro Charter, shall be <br />withdrawn by checks authenticated by the signatures of Janelle T. Cameron and T. Michael Yuen in the <br />City Manager’s Office, and Nicole Gonzales and Felicia Silva in the Finance Department. The <br />authorization for these designated persons shall also include the capacity to make fund transfers by <br />telephone or wire instruction. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 2024-135 is hereby rescinded. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Aguilar and passed and adopted this 17th day of March 2025 by the <br />following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmember Aguilar, Azevedo, Boldt, Bowen, Simon, Viveros-Walton, Mayor González (7) <br /> <br />NOES: None (0) <br /> <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> Kelly B.
