Amendment No. 1 to Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and Freyer & Laureta, Inc. for Floresta Sewer Replacement Page 1 of 3 AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND FREYER & LAURETA, INC. FOR FLORESTA SEWER REPLACEMENT This Amendment No. 1 (“Amendment”) is made by and between the City of San Leandro (“City”) and Freyer & Laureta, Inc. (“Consultant”) (together sometimes referred to as the “Parties”) as of ______________, 2025, and amends that certain Consulting Services Agreement ( “CSA” or “Agreement”) dated March 11, 2025, between the Parties. WHEREAS, City and Consultant have executed the Agreement, pursuant to which Consultant has provided certain consulting services to City with regard to Floresta Sewer Replacement; and WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to include additional flow monitoring services for the Floresta Sewer Replacement Project. NOW THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the Parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows: 1. Section 2 of the Agreement entitled “Compensation” is hereby amended to pay Consultant a sum not to exceed SIXTY EIGHT THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY DOLLARS AND NO CENTS ($68,230), which is an increase of $18,740; and 2. Exhibit A of the Agreement entitled “Scope of Services” is hereby amended to include: Task V: Freyer & Laureta (F&L) will attend one project coordination meeting. F&L will also manage all coordination with the flow monitoring subcontractor, perform QA/QC, and monitor schedule and budget. F&L will conduct one week of flow monitoring and prepare a brief memorandum summarizing the monitoring results and provide recommendations for installation. Based on the monitoring data, F&L will analyze the findings and prepare a Revised Final Submittal confirming the viability of trenchless replacement as a construction method for the sewer main. The final deliverables will include a complete bid document package, consisting of Plans, Specifications, and Anticipated Cost Schedule. 3. Exhibit B of the Agreement entitled “Compensation Schedule & Reimbursable Expenses” is hereby amended to include: Original Contract: $49,490 Amendment No. 01: $18,740 (new) Revised PO Total: $68,230 4.
