IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2026-001 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CITY-WIDE MASTER SALARY SCHEDULE TO REFLECT SALARY <br />ADJUSTMENTS EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2026 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City-wide Master Salary Schedule has been amended to reflect the negotiated <br />salary adjustment of three and three-quarters percent (3.75%) for the San Leandro City Employees’ <br />Association (SLCEA) and the Confidential Employee Group effective January 1, 2026 per the respective <br />memorandum of understandings and compensation agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the State of California minimum wage will increase to $16.90 per hour on January <br />1, 2026; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, to ensure the City maintains compliance with State of California minimum wage and <br />provide an equitable wage adjustment, the City Manager recommends approval of a salary increase of <br />three and three-quarters percent (3.75%) effective January 1, 2026 for Non-Represented Part-Time <br />Employees. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br />That the City of San Leandro hereby approves the City-wide Master Salary Schedule as described <br />above which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Aguilar and passed and adopted on this 5th day of January 2026 by <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Azevedo, Boldt, Bowen, Simon, Viveros-Walton, Mayor González (7) <br /> <br />NOES: None (0) <br /> <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br /> <br />ATTEST: _______________________________ <br />Sarah Bunting <br />Acting City Clerk
