<br />Amendment No. 1 to Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and 1/26/2026 <br />Building Futures San Leandro Shelter and Sister Me Home (HHAP) Page 1 of 3 <br />AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND <br />BUILDING FUTURES <br />FOR <br />SAN LEANDRO SHELTER AND SISTER ME HOME <br /> <br /> <br />This Amendment No.1 (“Amendment”) is made by and between the City of San Leandro (“City”) <br />and Building Futures (“Consultant”) (together sometimes referred to as the “Parties”) as of January 1, 2026, <br />and amends that certain Consulting Services Agreement (“CSA” or “Agreement”) dated January 1, 2025, <br />between the Parties. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City and Consultant have executed the Agreement, pursuant to which Consultant has <br />provided certain consulting services to City with regard to shelter operations, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to increase the funding amount and <br />extend the contract term dates. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the CSA was approved by the Council on March 17, 2025, per Council Resolution <br />Number 2025-021. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is hereby <br />acknowledged, the Parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows: <br /> <br />1. Section 1.1 of the Agreement entitled “Term of Services” is hereby amended to extend the <br />term from December 31, 2025, to December 31, 2026, and <br /> <br />2. Exhibit A of the Agreement entitled “Scope of Services” is hereby amended to include an <br />updated quarterly reporting schedule: <br />Service Period Report & Invoice Due to City <br />Q1 01/01/2026 - 03/31/2026 04/15/2026 <br />Q2 04/01/2026 - 06/30/2026 07/15/2026 <br />Q3 07/01/2026 - 09/30/2026 10/15/2026 <br />Q4 10/01/2026 - 12/31/2026 01/15/2027 <br /> <br />3. Section 2 of the Agreement entitled “Compensation” is hereby amended to increase <br />compensation of $200,446.00 by $192,822, for a total amount not to exceed $393,268.00; and <br /> <br />4. Exhibit B of the Agreement entitled “Compensation Schedule & Reimbursable Expenses” is <br />hereby amended to include: <br /> <br />II. Budget Summary (01/01/2026 -12/31/2026) <br /> <br />A.
