City of San Leandro Community Workforce Agreement Extension Agreement Page 1 CITY OF SAN LEANDRO COMMUNITY WORKFORCE AGREEMENT EXTENSION AGREEMENT Preamble This Extension Agreement is made and entered into this ____ day of ______________, 2025 by and between the City of San Leandro (“City”) and the Building and Construction Trades Council of Alameda County, AFL-CIO (“Council”), on behalf of itself and the local Unions that have authorized the Council to enter into this Amendment (“Unions”). Recitals WHEREAS, the City, the Council, and the signatory Unions entered into a Community Workforce Agreement for the City of San Leandro (“Agreement”) that became effective on January 1, 2016; and WHEREAS, the parties to the Agreement continued to adhere to the terms and conditions of the Agreement following the Agreement’s initial term and continued to apply the Agreement to Projects, as defined in the Agreement, that were awarded by the City following the Agreement’s initial term; and WHEREAS, the parties to the Agreement now desire to formally extend the Agreement through January 1, 2027; and NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants stated herein and in the Agreement, the City and the Council hereby agree to amend and extend the Agreement as indicated below, with all other terms and conditions to remain unchanged and in effect. Amendment Article 19, Section 19.3 of the Agreement is hereby removed and replaced in its entirety as follows: 19.3 The Agreement shall continue in full force and effect until January 1, 2027 and shall be applicable to all Projects bid during the term until Completion. This Extension Agreement shall become effective on the day it is executed by the City and the Council. Except as stated herein, the Agreement shall continue in full force and effect in accordance with its terms.
