IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2026-039 RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A REPLACEMENT RAPIDVIEW IBAK HD MAINLINE + E450 GAS CCTV INSPECTION SYSTEM FOR THE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT FOR A TOTAL COST OF $485,241 AND TO AUTHORIZE AN INCREASE IN CONTRACT PRICE OF UP TO $55,000 TO ACCOUNT FOR ANY CHANGE IN PURCHASE PRICE DUE TO MARKET VOLATILITY WHEREAS, a quote for the purchase of a RapidView IBAK HD Mainline + E450 Gas CCTV Inspection System from Municipal Maintenance Equipment (MME) has been presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the purchase of said vehicle; and WHEREAS, authorizing change orders to address volatile market conditions helps ensure the purchase can proceed as planned in the event of fluctuations in vehicle pricing. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That the purchase of the vehicle listed on the quote from MME for the price listed at $485,241 is approved and purchase of the equipment by the City Manager is authorized; and That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to execute all documents and take all actions necessary to effect the intent and purpose of this Resolution; and That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to spend an additional $55,000 in case prices change due to market volatility.
