IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2026-048 RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ALTA PLANNING + DESIGN, INC. FOR PLANNING AND TRANSPORTATION CONSULTING SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF THE BAY FAIR DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND SPECIFIC PLAN UPDATE, INCREASING THE CONTRACT BY $95,521 FOR A TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $195,509 WHEREAS, on March 13, 2026, the City entered into a Consulting Services Agreement with Alta Planning + Design, Inc. (the Agreement) for planning and transportation consulting services to supplement the preparation of the Bay Fair Development Plan and Specific Plan Update, in an amount not to exceed $99,988; and WHEREAS, the City desires to expand the scope of consulting services and increase the contract by $95,521, for a revised total not-to-exceed amount of $195,509; and WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement is presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment to the Agreement; and NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: 1. That Amendment No. 1 to the Consulting Services Agreement with Alta Planning + Design, Inc., increasing the not-to-exceed contract amount by $95,521 from $99,988 to $195,509 is hereby approved; and 2. That the City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to take all actions and execute all documents necessary to effect the purpose and intent of this Resolution for the consultant services agreement referred to herein.
