IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2026-059 RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A NON-PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CALCON SYSTEMS, INC. TO PROVIDE ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION SUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE CITY’S WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $120,344 FOR A ONE-YEAR TERM WHEREAS, whereas the City’s Water Pollution Control Plant and sanitary sewer lift stations require upgrades and repairs to their electrical and instrumentation systems; and WHEREAS, Calcon Systems, Inc. (Calcon) possess specialized professional expertise in making these repairs and improvements; and WHEREAS, Calcon has experience providing these services at the Water Pollution Control Plant and is uniquely qualified to continue offering these services; and WHEREAS, Calcon has agreed to the terms of the agreement pending Council approval; and WHEREAS, the Non-Professional Services Agreement was presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That said services agreement with CalCon Systems Inc. is hereby approved in the amount of $120,344 for a one-year term; and That the City Manager is authorized to take all actions and execute all documents necessary to effect the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
