IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2026-075 RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CHAPLIN & HILL INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES LLC FOR THIRD-PARTY PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS INVESTIGATION SERVICES, TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT BY $150,000 FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $400,000; AND EXTEND THE TERM THROUGH JUNE 30, 2028 WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro contracts with Chaplin & Hill Investigative Services for third- party professional standards investigation services; and WHEREAS, December 1, 2023 the City Manager executed an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Chaplin & Hill Investigative Services for an amount not to exceed $100,000, with a term through June 30, 2024; and WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 was executed to extend the term through June 30, 2026; and WHEREAS, Amendment No. 2 increased the contract amount by $150,000; and WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to extend through June 30, 2028, and increase the amount by $150,000 for a total not to exceed amount of $400,000; and WHEREAS, the amendment will be funded from existing budget appropriations resulting in no impact to the General Fund undesignated fund balance; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE that said amendment to the agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is authorized.
