<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2006-006 <br /> <br />(1156/1413) <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE III, SECTION 3-4-110 <br />OF THE SAN LEANDRO MUNICIPAL CODE <br />RELATING TO DISASTER COUNCIL MEMBERSHIP <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. Purpose. This ordinance amends the Disaster Council Membership Section <br />of the Disaster Regulations of Title ill, Chapter 4 of the San Leandro Municipal Code by removing <br />the requirement for one City Council member from the Disaster Council. <br /> <br />Section 2. Section 3-4-110. Section 3-4-110 of the San Leandro Municipal Code is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Disaster Council: Membership. The City of San Leandro Disaster Council is hereby <br />created and shall consist of the following: <br /> <br />(a) The Mayor, who shall be Chairperson; <br /> <br />(b) The Vice Mayor, who shall be Vice Chairperson; <br /> <br />(c) The Director of Emergency Services; <br /> <br />(d) The Assistant Director of Emergency Services; <br /> <br />(e) Such chiefs of emergency services as are provided for in a current emergency plan <br />of this City, adopted pursuant to this Chapter; <br /> <br />(f) Such representatives of civic, business, labor, veterans, professional, or other <br />organizations having an official emergency responsibility, as may be appointed by <br />the Director with the advice and consent of the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 3. Effective Date and Publication. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) <br />days after adoption. The City Clerk is directed to publish the title once and post a complete copy <br />thereof on the City Council Chamber bulletin board for five (5) days prior to adoption. <br />
