IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO ORDINANCE NO. 2006-006 (1156/1413) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE III, SECTION 3-4-110 OF THE SAN LEANDRO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO DISASTER COUNCIL MEMBERSHIP The City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as follows: Section 1. Purpose. This ordinance amends the Disaster Council Membership Section of the Disaster Regulations of Title ill, Chapter 4 of the San Leandro Municipal Code by removing the requirement for one City Council member from the Disaster Council. Section 2. Section 3-4-110. Section 3-4-110 of the San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: Disaster Council: Membership. The City of San Leandro Disaster Council is hereby created and shall consist of the following: (a) The Mayor, who shall be Chairperson; (b) The Vice Mayor, who shall be Vice Chairperson; (c) The Director of Emergency Services; (d) The Assistant Director of Emergency Services; (e) Such chiefs of emergency services as are provided for in a current emergency plan of this City, adopted pursuant to this Chapter; (f) Such representatives of civic, business, labor, veterans, professional, or other organizations having an official emergency responsibility, as may be appointed by the Director with the advice and consent of the City Council. Section 3. Effective Date and Publication. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after adoption. The City Clerk is directed to publish the title once and post a complete copy thereof on the City Council Chamber bulletin board for five (5) days prior to adoption.
