CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> <br />John Gooding led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />B. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Members Badger, Grant, Nardine, Santos, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Young <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Mayor Young welcomed new Councilmember Joyce Starosciak to her first official <br />meeting and congratulated re-elected Councilmembers Surlene Grant and Tony Santos. <br /> <br />2. PRESENTATIONS/RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />Mayor Young announced that the following presentations were made: <br />. A Certificate of Recognition was presented to San Leandro Honda for receiving American <br />Honda's President's Award for five consecutive years <br />. A Certificate of Recognition was presented to the San Leandro Chapter 511 of NARFE on <br />its 50th Anniversary <br />
