<br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-003 <br /> <br />(3073) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO BAUMAN LANDSCAPEIMCGUIRE AND <br />HESTER FOR LEWELLING BOULEVARD LANDSCAPE MEDIAN, PROJECT NO. 05-210- <br />38-231, AMENDING THE PRIORITIZED LIST OF BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN <br />PROJECTS FOR MEASURE B BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN FUNDS, AND <br />APPROPRIATION OF MEASURE B BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN FUNDS <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />The City of San Leandro did, on November 21,2005, publicly open, examine and declare <br /> <br />all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2005-141 of the <br /> <br />Council of said City adopted on October 3, 2005, which resolution is hereby expressly referred <br /> <br />to for a description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said <br /> <br />resolution. <br /> <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br /> <br />recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br /> <br />work. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br /> <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br /> <br />therefore, to wit: Bauman Landscape/McGuire and Hester, at the prices named in its bid on file <br /> <br />in the Office of the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />That an appropriation of Measure B Bicycle and Pedestrian Funds is made in the amount <br /> <br />of $45,000. <br /> <br />
