CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. <br /> <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> <br />Harold Perez led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />B. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Members Badger, Grant, Nardine, Santos, Starosciak:, Stephens; <br />Mayor Young <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />2. PRESENT A TIONS/RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />A. Recognition of the Employee of the Month for the Month of June 2006, <br />Mary Litvinchuk, Senior Library Assistant, Library Department. <br /> <br />Mary Litvinchuk was present to receive her award. <br /> <br />B. Recognition of City of San Leandro by Babe Ruth Baseball League for 50 Years of <br />Support. <br /> <br />Mayor Young announced that she accepted a plaque from the Babe Ruth Baseball <br />League thanking the City of San Leandro for 50 years of continued support. She in turn <br />presented the plaque to Recreation and Human Services Director Carolyn Knudtson. <br />
