<br />IN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-011 RDA <br /> <br />(1485/3060) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />LEANDRO AUTHORIZING AN EXCLUSIVE NEGOTIATING RIGHTS AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE OLSON COMPANY FOR AGENCY-OWNED PROPERTY <br />(APNS: 075-0001-010-02,075-0001-005, 075-0001-06, 075-0001-008-02, 075-0001-004) <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Agency owns property at 210-30 Davis Street, 250 Davis Street, 290 Davis <br />Street, and 1199 East 14th Street ("Agency Property") within the Plaza Project Area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS Agency Property is suitable for mixed-use development in accordance with the <br />Plaza Redevelopment Plan and the City of San Leandro's General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Agency issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to find a development <br />firm for the Agency Property; <br /> <br />WHEREAS The Olson Company's response to the RFQ was considered to be the most <br />complete in its addressing of the Agency's stated criteria; <br /> <br />WHEREAS Agency staff and The Olson Company have negotiated an Exclusive <br />Negotiating Rights Agreement, under which The Olson Company would further investigate site <br />conditions and development possibilities for the Agency Property, eventually leading to a <br />Disposition and Development Agreement between the Agency and The Olson Company; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Agency has been presented with the Exclusive Negotiating Rights <br />Agreement and is familiar with the contents thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro does <br />RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br />That the Exclusive Negotiating Rights Agreement with The Olson Company is hereby <br />approved, and the Executive Director is authorized to execute it. <br /> <br />Introduced by Agency Member Stephens and passed and adopted this 20th day of June 2005 <br />by the following called vote: <br />
