IN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-014 RDA (1264/1485) <br />RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2005-022 RDA AND AUTHORIZING <br />INVESTMENT OF THE SAN LEANDRO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MONIES <br />IN THE LOCAL AGENCY INVESTMENT FUND <br />The Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />1. Pursuant to Chapter 730 of the Statutes of 1976 Section 16429.1 that was added to <br />the California Government Code to create a Local Agency Investment Fund in the State Treasury <br />for the deposit of money of a local agency for purposes of investment by the State Treasurer. <br />2. The Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro does hereby find that the <br />deposit and withdrawal of money in the Local Agency Investment Fund in accordance with the <br />provisions of Section 16429.1 of the Government Code for the purposes of investment as stated <br />therein is in the best interest of the Redevelopment Agency. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Redevelopment Agency does hereby <br />authorize the deposit and withdrawal of Redevelopment Agency monies in the Local Agency <br />hwestment Fund in the State Treasury in accordance with the provisions of Section 16429.1 of <br />the Government Code for the purpose of investment as stated therein, and verification by the <br />State Treasurer's Office all banking information provided in that regard and that John J. <br />Jennanis, Executive Director; or Carlota Rodriguez, Deputy Treasurer or Mary Ann Perini, <br />Budget and Compliance Manager, or their successors in office shall be authorized to order the <br />deposit or withdrawal of monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund: <br />And it is further RESOLVED that Resolution No. 2005-022 RDA is hereby rescinded. <br />Introduced by Agency Member Prola and passed and adopted this 5`h day of November, <br />2007, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Agency: <br />AYES: Members Gregory, Prola, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; Mayor Santos (6) <br />NOES: None ~~~ <br />ABSENT: Member Grant ~I) <br />ATTEST: ~~~~ ~/~ ~'~-~'~J <br />Marian Handa, Agency Secretary <br />
