IN THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2007-002 EDA (1264/2807) <br />RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2007-001 EDA AND AUTHORIZING <br />INVESTMENT OF THE SAN LEANDRO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGENCY MONIES <br />IN THE LOCAL AGENCY INVESTMENT FL7ND <br />The Economic Development Agency (EDA) of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE <br />as follows: <br />1. Pursuant to Chapter 730 of the Statutes of 1976 Section 16429.1 that was added to <br />the California Government Code to create a Local Agency Investment Fund in the State Treasury <br />for the deposit of money of a local agency for purposes of investment by the State Treasurer. <br />2. The Economic Development Agency of the City of San Leandro does hereby find <br />that the deposit and withdrawal of money in the Local Agency Investment Fund in accordance <br />with the provisions of Section 16429.1 of the Government Code for the purposes of investment <br />as stated therein is in the best interest of the Economic Development Agency. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Economic Development Agency does <br />hereby authorize the deposit and withdrawal of Economic Development Agency monies in the <br />Local Agency Investment Fund in the State Treasury in accordance with the provisions of <br />Section 16429.1 of the Government Code for the purpose of investment as stated therein, and <br />verification by the State Treasurer's Office all banking information provided in that regard and <br />that John J. Jermanis, Executive Director; or Carlota Rodriguez, Deputy Treasurer or Mary Ann <br />Perini, Budget and Compliance Manager, or their successors in office shall be authorized to order <br />the deposit or withdrawal of monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund. <br />And it is further RESOLVED that Resolution No. 2007-001 EDA is hereby rescinded. <br />Introduced by Agency Member Prola and passed and adopted this 5`~ day of November, 2007, <br />by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Agency: <br />AYES: Members Gregory, Prola, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; Mayor Santos (6) <br />NOES: None ~p~ <br />ABSENT: Member Grant (I~ <br />ATTEST: ~~~~ ~G1.~1'rt-(X-Z~.. <br />Marian Handa, Agency Secretary <br />
