Update on the Mid -Term Review of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency 2004-2009 <br />Implementation Plan <br />City Manager Jermanis introduced Assistant to the City Manager Battenberg who reported <br />that, as required by California Redevelopment Law, a public hearing is scheduled for the <br />December 3, 2007 City Council meeting to hear comment on the Mid -Term Review of the <br />San Leandro Redevelopment Agency 2004-2009 Implementation Plan. The Implementation <br />Plan is a 5 -year plan and during the third year of the plan, which is 2007, the Agency is <br />required to prepare and adopt a Mid -Term Review of the Plan. State law also includes <br />posting requirements, which the City has met. <br />The Mid -Term Review includes updates on projects identified in the Implementation Plan <br />such as the West Estudillo Pedestrian Improvements and History Walk, as well as new <br />projects which meet included goals, such as the TOD Strategy for improving public transit <br />use and the pedestrian environment. Additionally, the Mid -Term Review includes any <br />changes to the objectives and an update on tax increment and expenditures. A presentation <br />of the Mid -Term Review will be part of the December 3rd public hearing. <br />
