IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO ORDINANCE N0.2008-002 (3075) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SAN LEANDRO ZONING CODE PART I, ARTICLE 3 AND PART II, ARTICLES 6 AND 7 REGARDING LIMITED ON-LINE USED VEHICLE SALES The City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as follows: Section 1: Part I, Article 3, Section 1-304 of the Zoning Code is hereby amended to add the following: 1-304 Definitions Vehicle/Heavy Equipment Dealers Limited, Used Sale or leasing of used automobiles of numerous model types, motorcycle, boats, trucks, tractors, construction or agricultural equipment, mobile homes, and similar equipment, including storage and incidental maintenance, where no more than two (2) parlflng spaces are devoted for such use and where the purpose is to satisfy the requirements of the California Department of Motor Vehicles to provide an office location where customers can complete required paperwork and take possession of a vehicle purchased primarily via Internet activities or fleet sales. Display of vehicles "For Sale" is prohibited. Section 2: Part II, Article 6, Section 2-606 (C) of the Zoning Code is hereby amended to read as follows: 2-606 CC District -Use Regulations C. CC District -Uses Requiring Administrative Review. The following uses are allowed in the CC District, subject to the approval of a Zoning Permit by the Zoning Enforcement Official, as per the requirements of Article 21. 1. Automatic Teller Machine. 2. Fast Food Establishment, Small Scale. (Administrative Review is required to establish or to enlarge a Small Scale, Fast Food Restaurant within five hundred (500) feet of a Residential District. Standards for review are specified in Section 2-674.H.) 3. Mobile Food Vendor. (Subject to approval of operation and restrictions on operation as established by the Zoning Enforcement Official and compliance with all other City codes pertaining to mobile food vendors.) 4. Parking Lot. 5. Recycling Facilities, Bulk Reverse Vending Machine. (Subject to the regulations of Section 4-1646: Recycling Facilities.)
