CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 9:02 a.m. <br />A. Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Members Grant, Gregory, Prola, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos <br />ABSENT: None <br />2. RETREAT TOPICS <br />A. Introductions <br />B. Goals for Retreat <br />C. City Council Roles, Procedures and Practices <br />The Council reviewed the retreat notes from March 2007. A brief discussion occurred <br />regarding communication and advancement of new ideas. <br />D. Discussion of Goals and Priorities <br />The goals for the upcoming year were discussed. They included: Streets and <br />Infrastructure; Revenue/Financial Strategy; Police and Safety; Community <br />enhancements such as library services; Shoreline; Development Projects. It was agreed <br />that staff would bring the goals and objectives back to the Council for consideration. <br />E. Discussion of Capital Improvement Project List <br />The Council discussed their overall goals for CIP activities over the next year. It was <br />agreed that the discussion would continue at a later meeting. <br />
