Alameda County Fire Department Report on Recent Community Trainings <br />Deputy Chief Bradley gave an overview of the community and City staff trainings the <br />Emergency Preparedness Manager Marla Blagg has given over the past year. The report is <br />attached. Chief Bradley had the unfortunate duty to inform the group that Ms. Blagg will be <br />reassigned due to budget cuts and her availability for community trainings will be greatly <br />curtailed beginning next Fiscal Year. <br />Several members of the Disaster Council commented on how effective Ms. Blagg is as the <br />Emergency Services Manager. <br />3. Report from EBMUD on Utility Preparedness <br />Mr. Sullivan provided an overview of EBMUD's efforts in the past few years to seismically <br />strengthen the infrastructure of their system. They now have the ability to re-route water <br />
