That on or about the 21st day of July 2003, the City of San Leandro, a municipal corporation of the State of California having offices at 835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, California, did enter into a certain contract with PACIFIC MECHANICAL CORPORATION, 2501 ANNALISA DRIVE, CONCORD, CA 94520, as contractor, for a certain work of improvement: to wit WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT BELT FILTER PRESS REPLACEMENT, PROJECT NO. 01-593-52-161 2. That the name of the sureties upon the bond of the contractor for said work of improvement is as follows: Safeco Insurance Company of America. 3. That said work of improvement was accepted by the City Council of the City of San Leandro as completed on the 18th day of Apri12005. 4. The nature of the interest or estate of the City of San Leandro as owner of the WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT BELT FILTER PRESS REPLACEMENT, PROJECT NO. O1-593-52-161, is that of fee simple title in certain land designated as 3000 Davis Street, San Leandro, CA, as well as ownership of improvements thereon.
