IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2003- 016 (1413 /2318) <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ADMINISTRATIVE PENALTIES FOR <br />VIOLATIONS OF THE SAN LEANDRO MUNICIPAL CODE AND AN <br />APPEALS PROCESSING FEE PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 1-12 OF THE SAN <br />LEANDRO MUNICIPAL CODE, AND AMENDING THE SAN LEANDRO <br />ADMINISTRATIVE CODE TO INCLUDE SUCH PENALTIES AND FEES <br />WHEREAS, on December 9, 2002, the City Council adopted amendments to <br />Chapter 1-12 of the San Leandro Municipal Code authorizing the imposition of <br />administrative fines and other remedies for violations of that Code, including other <br />applicable codes, ordinances, and other authorities as defined in said Chapter; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 1-12-410(c) of Chapter 1-12 as amended authorizes the City <br />Council to adopt by resolution a Schedule of Penalties setting forth the amount of <br />monetary fines to be imposed for such violations; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 1-12-420(c) of Chapter 1-12 as amended authorizes the City <br />Council to adopt an appeals processing fee to be paid by persons challenging the issuance <br />of a Notice of Violation under Chapter 1-12. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does hereby <br />RESOLVES as follows: <br />1. The Schedule of Penalties attached hereto as Exhibit "A," is adopted and <br />shall apply and be utilized as provided and subject to the limitations contained in Chapter <br />1-12 of the San Leandro Municipal Code. <br />2. Section 6.4.100 of the San Leandro Administrative Code is hereby <br />amended by adding thereto the fines listed in said Exhibit "A." <br />3. Section 6.4.100 of the San Leandro Administrative Code is further <br />amended by adding thereto an Appeal Processing Fee of $30.00, to be paid in connection <br />
