IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2003- 017 (2012) A RESOLUTION AWARDING A GRANT OF FUNDS TO THE DAMS STREET COMMUNITY CENTER WHEREAS, on January 18, 2000, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2000- 3 approving a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Capital Improvement Agreement between the City and the Davis Street Community Center for the purchase of property at 1103 Davis Street from the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency, which property was to be used for construction of a service center; and WHEREAS, the Davis Street Community Center has determined to construct the service center at another location, no longer plans to develop the property at 1103 Davis Street, and has agreed to reconvey said property to the Redevelopment Agency; and WHEREAS, the City desires to provide funding to the Davis Street Community Center, whose programs and activities directly benefit the San Leandro Community. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: L That the City Council of the City of San Leandro hereby approves a grant in the amount of $229,500 to be awarded to the Davis Street Community Center, to be awarded following the reconveyance of the property at 1103 Davis Street to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro, 2. That an adjustment to the City's Budget be made in the same amount. Introduced by Council Member Santos and passed and adopted this 21st day of January, 2003, by the following called vote.
