That on or about October 23, 2002, the City of San Leandro, a municipal corporation of the State of California, having offices at 835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, California, did enter into a certain contract with BUGLER CONSTRUCTION, 47000 WARM SPRINGS BLVD., #101, FREMONT, CA 94539 as contractor, for a certain work of improvement: To wit, WASHINGTON AVENUE UNDERPASS SEISMIC RETROFIT, PROJECT NO. 01-210- 38-186, of which said City is owner. 2. That the name of the surety upon the bond of the Contractor for said work of improvement is as follows: Developers Surety & Indemnity Company. 3. That said work of improvement was accepted by the City Council of the City of San Leandro as completed on the 19th day of May 2003. 4. The nature of the interest or estate of the City of San Leandro as owner of the WASHINGTON AVENUE UNDERPASS SEISMIC RETROFIT, PROJECT NO. O1-210-38-186, project is that of public right-of--way in certain land designated as Washington Avenue Underpass Bridge as well as ownership of improvements thereon.
