C <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 5AN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2002- 1 (2047) <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO'S <br />REVISED NON-DISPOSAL FACILITY ELEMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro has previously prepared and adopted a Non- <br />Disposal Facility Element meeting the requirements of the California Integrated Waste <br />Management Act of 1989, as required by Section 41000 of the Public Resources Code; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City now finds it necessary to revise and update the Non- <br />Disposal Facility Element; and <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Local Task Force has reviewed and commented <br />on the final draft of the revised Non-Disposal Facility Element, in accordance with the <br />regulations of California Integrated Waste Management Board; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Leandro has received the revised <br />Non-Disposal Facility Element, and has held a duly noticed public hearing as fiurther <br />required by said regulations to receive public comment on the revised Non-Disposal <br />Facility; and <br />WHEREAS, the adoption of this revised Non-Disposal Facility Element is <br />exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act, pursuant to Article 19, Section <br />15308, of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations (CEQA Guidelines), because it <br />is a regulatory action authorized under State law taken for the protection of the <br />environment; and <br />
