Hollister <br />City Manager <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH SAN LORENZO UNIFIED SCHOOL <br />DISTRICT FOR FIELD TRIP TRANSPORTATION SERVICES <br />SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve an agreement between the City of San Leandro <br />and the San Lorenzo Unified School District which allows the San Lorenzo Unified School <br />District to supply transportation for field trips. <br />BACKGROUND <br />The San Leandro Recreation and Human Services department sponsors field trips throughout the <br />year which require bus transportation. The San Lorenzo Unified School District can provide <br />transportation for these field trips at equal to or lesser costs than other private transportation <br />companies that are currently used.
