IN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2010-002 RDA (2961) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2009-10 <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BUDGET TO ALLOCATE AN ADDITIONAL $131,000 FROM <br />THE HOUSING SET ASIDE FUND BALANCE FOR THE <br />FIRST TIME HOMEBUYER PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro (Agency) First Time <br />Homebuyer Program, adopted October 16, 1995 as amended, allows low- and moderate-income <br />families and persons to qualify to buy a home in San Leandro; and <br />WHEREAS, said program assists in achieving Agency's affordable housing goals as stated <br />in Agency's 2004-2009 Implementation Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, Agency allocated funding in the FY 2009-10 Budget for said program, which <br />funds have been fully expended due to increased demand; and <br />WHEREAS, Agency desires to provide additional funding for the First Time Homebuyer <br />Program for the remainder of the fiscal year; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro does <br />RESOLVE as follows: <br />That $131,000 for the First Time Homebuyer Program is hereby allocated from the Housing <br />Set Aside Fund Balance. <br />Introduced by Agency Member Prola and passed and adopted this 16th day of February, <br />2010, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Agency: <br />AYES: Members Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; Chair Santos (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, Agency Secretary <br />
