<< <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2001- i i (2895 ) <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO GALLAGHER & BURK, INC., <br />FOR RAILROAD GRADE CROSSING IMPROVEMENTS, <br />PROJECT NO.00-230-38-207 <br />Recitals <br />The City of San Leandro did, on January 23, 2001, publicly open, examine and declare <br />all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2000-180 of the <br />Council of said City adopted on December 18, 2000, which resolution is hereby expressly <br />referred to for a description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under <br />said resolution. <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and transportation Director who has <br />recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br />work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br />therefore, to wit: Gallagher & Burk, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of <br />the City Clerk. <br />Introduced by Council Member Loeffler and passed and adopted this <br />5th day of February 2001, by the following called vote: <br />
