IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2001-14 (1219 / 25 75 ) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPLY FOR A <br />TRANSPORTATION FUND FOR CLEAN AIR (TFCA) REGIONAL GRANT FOR <br />THE ADVANCED SIGNAL SYSTEM AND APPROPRIATE $63,275 OF <br />DEVELOPMENT FEES FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS (DFSI) FUNDS <br />WHEREAS, the Bay Area Air Quality Management Board has a Transportation Fund for <br />Clean Air (TFCA); and <br />WHEREAS, one of the transportation control measures that is eligible for funding is <br />expansion of the City's Advanced Signal System; and <br />WHEREAS, Development Fees for Street Improvements (DFSI) funds have been paid by <br />developers to be used for traffic improvements throughout the City; and <br />The expansion of the City's Advanced Signal System is consistent with previous uses of <br />DFSI funds. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to apply for a Transportation <br />Fund for Clean Air Regional Grant for the Advanced Signal System and appropriate $63,275 in <br />DFSI funds. The TFCA grant will reimburse the DFSI fund upon project completion. <br />Introduced by Council Member Loeffler and passed and adopted this <br />5th day of February 2001, by the following called vote: <br />
