IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-1 (2879) <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO MOUNTAIN CASCADE, INC., <br />FOR THE DOOLITTLE DRIVE SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT, <br />PROJECT NO. 99-593-52-117 <br />Recitals <br />The City of San Leandro did, on December 14, 1999, publicly open, examine and declare <br />all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 99-167 of the Council <br />of said City adopted on November 15, 1999, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for <br />a description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br />recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br />work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br />therefore, to wit: Mountain Cascade, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of <br />the City Clerk. <br />Introduced by Council Member Ga 1 v a n and passed and adopted this <br />3rd day of January 2000, by the following called vote: <br />
