IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO ORDINANCE NO. 99 -06 (1099/2861) AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREIN DESCRIBED • AS TO ZONING DISTRICT AND AMENDING ZONING MAP (A -98 -8) THE PERALTA AVENUE AREA, WEST OF SAN LEANDRO BOULEVARD (specifically, a 44.6 acre area bounded by the BART right -of -way to the east, the San Leandro Creek to the south, the Southern Pacific Railroad right -of -way to the west, and the San Leandro - Oakland border to the north; Assessor's Parcel Numbers 75- 155 -1 -2, 2 -2, 2 -8, 2 -11, 2 -12, 4, 75- 207 -1, 3- 1,4 -1, 5- 1,6 -1, 6 -4, 7 -1, 7 -2, 7 -3, and 8 -2) Recitals The City Council of the City of San Leandro, after public hearings duly and properly held in compliance with the Zoning Code of the City of San Leandro, has determined that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the reclassification of the property described below to the district and classification hereinafter set forth. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as follows: Section 1: That properties described within the Peralta Avenue Area, west of San Leandro Boulevard, is hereby reclassified from the IG Industrial General and IG(S) Industrial General, Special Overlay Districts to RS(PD) Residential Single- Family Planned Development Overlay District. Section 2: The City of San Leandro Official Zoning Map is hereby amended as shown on Sheet Al and A2, filed in the office of the City Clerk on February 9, 1999. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after adoption and the title shall be published once prior to adoption.
