r' r. <br /> IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 99 -06 (1099/2861) <br /> AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREIN DESCRIBED <br /> • AS TO ZONING DISTRICT AND AMENDING ZONING MAP <br /> (A -98 -8) THE PERALTA AVENUE AREA, WEST OF SAN LEANDRO BOULEVARD <br /> (specifically, a 44.6 acre area bounded by the BART right -of -way to the east, the San <br /> Leandro Creek to the south, the Southern Pacific Railroad right -of -way to the west, and <br /> the San Leandro - Oakland border to the north; Assessor's Parcel Numbers 75- 155 -1 -2, 2 -2, <br /> 2 -8, 2 -11, 2 -12, 4, 75- 207 -1, 3- 1,4 -1, 5- 1,6 -1, 6 -4, 7 -1, 7 -2, 7 -3, and 8 -2) <br /> Recitals <br /> The City Council of the City of San Leandro, after public hearings duly and properly held <br /> in compliance with the Zoning Code of the City of San Leandro, has determined that the public <br /> necessity, convenience and general welfare require the reclassification of the property described <br /> below to the district and classification hereinafter set forth. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 1: That properties described within the Peralta Avenue Area, west of San Leandro <br /> Boulevard, is hereby reclassified from the IG Industrial General and IG(S) Industrial General, <br /> Special Overlay Districts to RS(PD) Residential Single- Family Planned Development Overlay <br /> District. <br /> Section 2: The City of San Leandro Official Zoning Map is hereby amended as shown on <br /> Sheet Al and A2, filed in the office of the City Clerk on February 9, 1999. <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after adoption and the title shall <br /> be published once prior to adoption. <br />
