IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 99 - 024 (1076) <br /> AN URGENCY ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLE 14 <br /> AND ADDING ARTICLE 14 TO CHAPTER 5 <br /> OF TITLE VII OF THE SAN LEANDRO MUNICIPAL CODE, <br /> ADOPTING BY REFERENCE, VIOLATIONS AND SAVING PROVISIONS, <br /> AS AMENDED, AND MAKING THIS MATTER AN URGENCY MEASURE TO TAKE <br /> EFFECT JULY 1, 1999, PURSUANT TO SECTION 1- 1- 345(f) AND (b) <br /> OF THE SAN LEANDRO MUNICIPAL CODE BECAUSE IT RELATES TO <br /> PARTICULAR PROVISIONS OF LAW PRESCRIBING THE MANNER OF ITS <br /> PASSAGE AND ADOPTION AND FOR THE IMMEDIATE PRESERVATION OF THE <br /> PUBLIC PEACE, HEALTH OR SAFETY <br /> The City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 1. Article 14 of Chapter 5 of Title VII of the <br /> San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby repealed. <br /> Section 2. Article 14 is hereby added to Chapter 5 of <br /> Title VII of the San Leandro Municipal Code to read as follows: <br /> "ARTICLE 14. VIOLATIONS AND SAVING PROVISIONS <br /> Section 7 -5 -1400: VIOLATIONS. It shall be unlawful for <br /> any person to interfere with the posting of any notice provided <br /> for in this Chapter, or to tear down, mutilate, or alter any such <br /> notice posted in or upon any building or premises. <br /> Section 7 -5 -1405: RE- ENACTMENT. The provisions of this <br /> Chapter, insofar as they are substantially the same as existing <br /> ordinance provisions relating to the same subject matter shall be <br /> construed as restatements and continuations thereof and not as <br /> new enactments." <br /> • <br /> 1 <br />
