IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO ORDINANCE NO. 98 -01 (2084/1413) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 -5 -100 OF . TITLE III, CHAPTER 5 AND SECTION 4 -1 1 -100 OF TITLE IV, CHAPTER 11, OF THE SAN LEANDRO MUNICIPAL CODE REGULATING POT - BELLIED PIGS The City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as follows: Section 1. Section 3 -5 -100 of Title III, Chapter 5 of the San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 3 -5 -100• The following uses are hereby forbidden in residential and business districts: (a) The maintenance, feeding, or keeping of horses, cows, sheep, goats, chickens, pigeons or other animals or birds of any kind except cats, caged birds, not over hvo spayed or neutered pot- bellied pigs, not over two dogs, and not over four doves, all of the aforesaid kept as household pets, or animals or birds kept for sale by a regularly licensed pet shop. (b) The keeping of bees within 600 feet of any dwelling." SECTION 2. Sections 4 -1 1- 100(1), (m), (n), (o) of Title IV, Chapter 11 of the San Leandro Municipal Code are hereby amended by renumbering to Sections 4- 100(m), (n), (o), (p), respectively. SECTION 3. Section 4-11-100(1) of Title IV, Chapter 11 of the San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 4-11-100(1): A pot- bellied pig shall mean any swine that does not exceed two hundred fifty (250) pounds." SECTION 4. Sections 4-11-700, 4 -1 1 -705, 4 -1 1 -710, 4 -1 1 -800, 4 -1 1- 900 are hereby amended by renumbering to 4 -1 1 -800, 4 -11 -805, 4 -11 -810, 4 -11- 900, 4 -1 1 -1000. SECTION 5. Sections 4 -1 1 -700, 4 -11 -705, 4- 11 -71 -, 4 -1 l -7 15, 4 -I I- 720, 4 -11- 725, 4-11-730; 4 -1 1 -735, 4 -11 -740 are hereby added to Title IV, Chapter 11 of the San Leandro Municipal Code, to read as follows: 1
