• <br /> IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 01= SAN LEANDRO <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 98 - 09 (1099/1024) <br /> AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 4 -1686 TO <br /> PART IV, ARTICLE 16 OF THE <br /> SAN LEANDRO ZONING CODE RELATED TO <br /> ZONING STANDARDS FOR WIRELESS <br /> TELECOMMUNICATIONS FACILITIES <br /> IN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND AMENDING <br /> RELATED SECTIONS OF THE ZONING CODE <br /> The City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as follows: <br /> Section I. The following definitions in Article I. Section 1 -304 of the Zoning <br /> Cock are added to read: <br /> Communications Facilities. Broadcasting, recording and other communication <br /> services accomplished through electronic or telephonic mechanisms, but <br /> excluding Utilities (Major) and Telecommunication antennas and towers as <br /> defined in this Code. See Section 4 -1686. This classification includes radio, <br /> television, or recording studios, telephone switching centers, and telegraph <br /> offices. <br /> Height. A vertical dimension is measured from finished ground level of the <br /> coping of the flat roof or to the deck line of a mansard roof or to the average <br /> height of the highest gable of a pitched or hipped roof. The height of a <br /> stepped or terraced building is the maximum height of any segment of the <br /> building, unless otherwise specified to the highest point. Please refer to the <br /> building height illustration. (For a definition of "height" in relation to <br /> Telecommunication antennas and towers, see Section 4 -I 686). <br /> Telecommunication Antennas and T owers. Generating plants, electrical substations, above ground <br /> electrical transmission lines, switching buildings, refuse collection, transfer, <br /> recycling of disposal facilities, flood control or drainage facilities, water or <br /> wastewater treatment plants, transportation or communications utilities, and <br />
