IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> ORDINANCE NO 97 - 03 ( 1428/ 1925 ) <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL <br /> PLAN TO INCLUDE A BIKEWAY PLAN <br /> Recitals <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Leandro, after public hearings duly and <br /> properly held in compliance with the Zoning Code of the City of San Leandro, has determined <br /> that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require amending the Circulation <br /> Element of the General Plan to include a Bikeway Plan. <br /> WHEREAS, the Bikeway Plan, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein by reference, has been reviewed by the City Council, and they are familiar with the <br /> contents thereof. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 1; The Circulation Element of the General Plan is hereby amended to include the <br /> Bikeway Plan dated January 15, 1997 and prepared by Fehr & Peers Associates, Inc., <br /> Transportation Consultants (Exhibit A). <br /> Section 2: The title of this ordinance shall be published once and the City Clerk shall <br /> post a complete copy thereof on the City Council Chamber bulletin board for five (5) days <br /> following its adoption. <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after adoption. <br />
